Visual Software is located in historic Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, a few hundred yards away from the location where George Washington made the historic crossing of the Delaware River with his troops the night before the battle of Trenton.
Visual Software's offices are located in one of several buildings originally built around 1750 and recently restored by the current owners.
These buildings stand on the ground where Washington and his troops camped after the defeat at York, preparing for the battle against the Hessian mercenaries in Trenton on December 25, 1776, probably the most famous battle of the US Revolutionary War. On the grounds where our offices sit was the place where these words by Thomas Paine were first spoken:
"These are times that try men's souls; the summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman."
